Seattle has some amazing subtropicals.

 Lot's and lot's of Cordylines and Eucs. Amazing how hard to see they are when driving, but when you come to a stop sign and look around. Wow.

Great finds, Brian. Seattle does have some warm areas, maybe zone 9a, that produces plants like that huge eucalyptus and cordyline.
